New York, Jun 30 (EFE), (Camera: Angel Colmenares).- The stories of the day laborers who take to the streets in New York in search of work have much in common: they are undocumented, Latinas, some are new arrivals and clean homes after hours of waiting on the street, exposed to inclement weather and sexual harassment. Now, a group of them is trying to improve their situation in a modern working world with the help of a course in the use of technology, such as apps, from which the first 50 workers are graduating today.Every morning, about a hundred women, sometimes more, come to the same place, a small square between Mercy and Division streets in a Hasidic Jewish neighborhood in Brooklyn, armed only with the hope of returning home with some money, although many receive wages below the legal limit or what they are promised, and suffer humiliating working conditions.
