Xabi Alonso: "We were able to score the third, but I am satisfied" | Video

Rome (Italy), May 2 (EFE).- The Spanish Xabi Alonso, coach of Bayer Leverkusen, assured this Thursday that his team had a chance to score the third goal against Roma (0-2), but that he also leaves satisfied with the result.

Statements by Xabi Alonso, Bayer Leverkusen coach:

1.- "We fought hard and played a great game with a lot of discipline, strength and speed. It means a lot to us but there is still a lot to do. We will have great memories of tonight, that's for sure, because we played a great game."

2.- Of course, we had enough chances to score the third goal, maybe even in the last minute for Roma. For us, we have it very tight, very compact defenses (...) But we didn't take full advantage of it. We are satisfied with the result anyway.
