Works begin to reopen iconic station closed since 2019 protests

Santiago de Chile, Apr 3 (EFE).- The works for the reopening of one of the main accesses to the iconic Baquedano subway station in Santiago began this Monday, after months of planning, since it was the epicenter of the social protests that shook Chile in 2019 and, since then, it was closed to the public due to its deep deterioration and converted into a citizen monument.
