Women occupy technical positions in mines after the start of the war in Ukraine

Pavlohrad (Ukraine), April 8 (EFE).- Male and female miners toil in the depths of a coal deposit in Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk region, Ukraine. The miners work at a depth of more than 260 meters, 24 hours a day, in three shifts.

According to mine operators, the more than 4,000 workers there are 600 women and more than a hundred work in technical positions underground.
