Woman killed in French farmers' protests in Pamiers, France

Pamiers (France), Jan 23 (EFE/EPA) - (Camera: Guillaume Horcajuelo) A woman died on Tuesday and two members of her family were injured when they were run over while taking part in a protest by farmers blocking a road near the town of Pamiers, at the foot of the Pyrenees.

The information was first reported by Arnaud Rousseau, the president of the FNSEA, France's main agricultural union, and confirmed by the Prefecture of the Ariège department.
