Washington celebrates spring with cherry blossoms ahead of feared logging

Washington, March 21 (EFE).- The capital of the United States dedicates this week to celebrating spring with the arrival of the National Cherry Blossom Festival, a popular event that this year is marked by the subsequent felling of a portion of its trees due to a rehabilitation project to the area to address flooding intensified by climate change.
