World War II-era wooden hangar destroyed by fire in California

Tustin, Nov 7 (EFE/EPA).- A historic World War II-era wooden hangar caught fire Tuesday morning in the Californian city of Tustin and the Orange County Fire Authority stated that the only way to fight the fire was to let the structure to collapse.

The hanger was one of two built in 1942 for the US Navy, and were among the the largest wooden structures ever built. (Camera: CAROLINE BREHMAN).
