The walls of Paris, "a democratic and powerful" artistic showcase

Paris (France), Oct 22 (EFE) - (Camera: Edgar Sapiña Manchado). Whether to illustrate a docile wolf next to an empowered little red riding hood or to criticise the hypocrisy of Emmanuel Macron, the walls of Paris are "a democratic and powerful" artistic showcase that embraces a wider public than the capital's classic museums.

"Urban art breaks down all social barriers, because it is admired by everyone from the homeless to the bourgeois of western Paris," Chrixcel, author of the recently published work "Urban Tribunes, walls of vindication", told EFE.

Translation:

CHRIXCEL: Urban art is really accessible to everyone, the homeless person on the corner is as welcome as the bourgeois living in the 16th (arrondissement). They have access to it and they don't need to go to a museum to see it, and then they can accept the messages or not, but in any case what I find extraordinary about street art is that it breaks all social boundaries. And what is it for? It's a way of expressing yourself, because real walls, there's nothing like the real thing and cement and concrete and matter to really express your preconceived ideas, as opposed to everything that happens on digital and social networks, which is extremely divisive.

THOMAS:

1.We would like the wolf to be something other than a dominant male who is necessarily a source of aggression or a form of violence, as we know from the story of Little Red Riding Hood and Little Red Riding Hood, or someone who can just be a girl as she wants to be, that is, if she wants to go for a walk in the woods in her underwear. She does it because she is free to do so.

2.We also wanted to represent the character. Often it is the wolf that is hidden. Often, it's the wolf that comes out of the forest that we don't see, and the Little Red Riding Hood that is in everyone's eyes and above everyone, and we also wanted to reverse that, especially in the fact that we don't see the face of the Little Red Riding Hood, but that the wolf is very visible. We have seen, we have also done this, we have highlighted all this in the style, that is, that the features of Little Red Riding Hood are quite rigid, almost frightening because she is hidden, but also because of the rigidity of her features, while the wolf, on the other hand, has much more rounded features. His posture is much more tender.
