Von der Leyen and Macron take part in final day of GLOBSEC conference in Bratislava

Bratislava (Slovakia), May 31 (EFE/EPA) - (Camera: Martin Divisek) European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced on Wednesday in Bratislava a package of growth measures for the six countries of the Western Balkans that will help them overcome their energy dependence on Russia.

"The Western Balkans have great potential to diversify their (energy) sources away from Russian fossil fuels," he said during his speech at the Globsec conference, which closes today in the Slovak capital.
