Vigil held in Los Angeles in response to Hamas attacks on Israel

Los Angeles, Sep 9 (EFE/EPA).- Los Angeles residents gathered at Stephen Wise Temple on Sunday to express solidarity with Israel.

Attendees joined in song, chanting the stirring "Oseh Shalom" while embracing one another.

The vigil was a response to the major attacks perpetrated against Israel by the Hamas Organization from the Gaza Strip, which tragically killed 700 Israelis and left more than 2,240 injured, as reported by the Israeli military.

The international community is watching closely as tensions in the region continue to rise. (Camera: CAROLINE BREHMAN).
