Victims of Emergency Regime in El Salvador reach 5,775 and deaths total 189

San Salvador, Oct 18 (EFE).- The "direct victims" of the emergency regime, in force in El Salvador since March 2022 to combat gangs, have reached 5,775, of which more than 50% are young people, according to a report presented Wednesday by representatives of a group of humanitarian organizations.
