Venezuelans in Ecuador actively vote in opposition primaries

Quito, Oct 22 (EFE).- Thousands of Venezuelans in Ecuador enjoyed a democratic celebration on Sunday as they attended polling stations set up in Quito and Guayaquil.

They participated in the primaries to elect the presidential candidate opposing the regime of President Nicolás Maduro.

In Quito, a long line of people formed in the morning, many dressed in the colours of the flag (yellow, blue and red), outside a coliseum of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador (PUCE). This served as the voting precinct for the primaries in this city. (Camera: JUAN FRANCISCO CHÁVEZ).
