Venezuelans celebrate Palm Sunday to mark Holy Week

Caracas, Mar 23 (EFE).- Hundreds of 'palm carriers of Chacao', completed their pilgrimage on Saturday through Waraira Repano, the mountainous formation known as Ávila that looms over northern Caracas.

They descended with tied palms to celebrate the Palm Sunday of Holy Week. (Camera: IVÁN CÁRDENAS).
