Two Venezuelan presidential candidates resign in favor of social democrat congressman

Caracas, Apr 22 (EFE) - Venezuelan presidential candidates Juan Carlos Alvarado and Luis Ratti resigned this Monday from their aspirations and decided to support social democrat congressman Luis Eduardo Martínez in the elections of next July 28, in which the head of state, Nicolás Maduro, will seek a third six-year term in power.
