Venezuelan government activates 'Furia Bolivariana' in response to alleged conspiracies

Caracas, Feb 22 (EFE).- The Venezuelan government, after denouncing conspiracies that included the assassination of President Nicolás Maduro, recently activated the 'Furia Bolivariana', a plan to "defend the right to peace" which, however, worries NGOs, opponents and experts, who warn of an "intensification" of political "repression and persecution", months before the presidential elections.
