Venezuelan companies stifled by tax increases

Caracas, Jun 9 (EFE), (Camera: Ivan Cardenas).- Venezuela's private sector, depleted after seven years of recession, warned of a "fiscal voracity" by the increase in municipal taxes of up to almost 10,000 % from 2019, which led merchants to informality, which hinders the road to economic recovery, say businessmen.
