SOUNDBITES OF THE FRENCH MINISTER OF EDUCATION, JEAN-MICHEL BLANQUER:

1- "The vaccine has become a new reality, from 12 to 17 years of age we have started with a voluntary campaign, like in Spain, which has made us one of the European countries that have vaccinated the most adolescents in high school."

2- "A little more than 80% of students from 12 to 17 years old are vaccinated and since the end of December vaccination is available for students from 5 to 11 years old, it has started a little slowly. It is inevitable because parents have to be calm. We have started a campaign to explain why and how to vaccinate them and today our open school policy is based on these three axes that are vaccination, testing and distancing measures."
