Uruguayan artist Juan de Andrés receives award for artistic career in Montevideo

Montevideo, Jan 26 (EFE).- Uruguayan artist Juan de Andrés, an indirect disciple of the Torres-García Foundation who returned to Uruguay in 2011 after living in Spain for more than three decades, received the Figari Award Thursday in Montevideo.

The award is considered the greatest recognition for the artist in visual arts. (Camera: ÀLEX GUTIÉRREZ).
