UNODC will open an office in Ecuador to implement plan to combat organized crime

Quito, May 6 (EFE) - The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) will open an office in Ecuador to implement a plan to prevent and combat organized crime, which is mainly dedicated to cocaine trafficking and is blamed for the rise in violence and homicides in the country.
