Unesco recognizes Panama's "efforts" to restore its World Heritage Sites

Portobelo (Panama), Apr 23 (EFE) - Panama has made "many efforts" to restore the Fortifications of the Caribbean Coast of Panama, a World Heritage site since 1980, but there is still work to be done in this regard, Enrique Lopez-Hurtado, culture specialist and head of the culture sector of Unesco's regional office for Central America, Mexico and Colombia, told EFE on Tuesday.
