Istanbul (Turkey), Jun 12 (EFE) - Four million unowned dogs roam the streets of Turkey, according to estimates by the government of the Eurasian country, which has announced a project to reduce their number, amid controversy from those who see with “terror” the presence of animals and those who call for “sharing love” with them. The proposed law, which the Turkish Parliament is expected to debate soon, envisages transferring stray dogs to kennels, where they can be adopted within 30 days.CAMERA: ILYA U.
