Turkey registers record 74,000 covid cases in a day

Istanbul (Turkey), Jan 12 (EFE / EPA) .- (Camera: Erdem Sahin) Turkey recorded a total of 74,266 new cases of covid-19 on Tuesday, the maximum daily figure since the pandemic began, while medical experts warn of the risk of saturation in intensive care units.

With this new record, announced today by the Ministry of Health, Turkey has already accumulated more than ten million infections since March 2020.
