Trump's tariffs raise alarm in Mexico's maquila hub following 40,000 job losses

Ciudad Juarez (Mexico), Nov 18 (EFE).- The looming tariffs proposed by incoming US President Donald Trump have particularly alarmed Mexico’s maquila industry hub in the border city of Ciudad Juárez. Local entrepreneurs estimate that 40,000 jobs and 250 businesses have already been lost this year amid the ongoing uncertainty.
