Torchlight procession in honour of Virgin of Lourdes lights up in northern Spain

Logroño, Feb 11 (EFE).- The torchlight procession illuminated the streets of Logroño, Spain, this Sunday in honour of the Virgin of Lourdes, with around 200 participants carrying lighted candles and praying the Rosary from the Church of San Bartolomé to the Church of Santiago.

Before the procession began, the attendees gathered in the Plaza de Bartolomé to light their torches and surround the figure of the Virgin, which was then carried along a route that was attended by the Mayor of Logroño, Conrado Escobar. (Camera: SERGIO JIMÉNEZ FORONDA).
