Tokyo stocks close sharply down

Tokyo, Jun 17 (EFE/EPA).- Tokyo stocks ended the week on Friday sharply lower, crossing the 26,000 line for the first time in over a month.

The Nikkei Stock Average ended down 468.20 points, or 1.77 percent, to close at 25,963.00. (Camera: FRANCK ROBICHON).
