Tokyo enjoys cherry blossoms in full bloom after govt lifts COVID-19 state of emergency

Tokyo, Mar 23 (EFE/EPA).- Residents of Tokyo went out Tuesday to enjoy a view of cherry blossoms in full bloom after the Japanese government lifted the state of emergency in Tokyo and other three neighboring prefectures over the weekend.

The Japan Weather Association announced the forecast of flowering and full bloom date of the cherry blossoms in Tokyo to be on Monday. (Camera: KIMIMASA MAYAMA).
