Tiny Forests provide huge benefits to urban population, wildlife

Barnet, UK, Apr 16 (EPA-EFE).- An initiative by an environmental NGO is helping boost the number of green spaces in urban areas in the United Kingdom – providing plants and wildlife with room to thrive – while also benefiting local communities.

Known as ‘Tiny Forests’, the innovative campaign by Earthwatch Europe has seen over 200 mini-woodlands crop up across the country since it was launched in 2020 at the height of the Covid pandemic.
