The Thyssen applies an "unmitigated corrective" to machismo in art with "Maestras"

Madrid, Oct 30 (EFE).- The Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum opens tomorrow Tuesday the exhibition "Maestras", an exhibition curated by Rocío de la Villa that not only removes the ostracism to which machismo has subjected female artists for centuries, but also It represents "an unmitigated corrective to the judgments derived from patriarchy."

When the public sees this exhibition, Rocío de la Villa predicted, "the first thing they will ask is why we didn't know all these women".
