LEBANON PALESTINE

Third day of clashes between Palestinian militias

Sidon (Lebanon), Jul 31 (EFE/EPA) - (Camera: Wael Hamzeh) Rival Palestinian factions clash today for the third consecutive day in the southern Lebanese city of Sidon, where establishments remain closed after clashes caused six deaths and about thirty wounded over the weekend.

According to the National News Agency (ANN), at least one rocket hit the south of the town today, and the population is avoiding the streets for fear of being hit by shrapnel and stray bullets from the Palestinian refugee camp of Ain el Helu, the largest of this community in Lebanon.
