Thailand waives visas for citizens of India, Taiwan to boost tourism

Bangkok, Nov 2 (EFE/EPA).- The Thai cabinet approved the visa exemption for tourists from India and Taiwan to enter Thailand for a 30-day stay effective from Nov. 10 to May 10, 2024 as part of the government's policy to boost the tourism industry.

The Thai government is targeting about 28 million visitors in 2023 with the hope that the tourism sector can revive the country’s economy. (Camera: RUNGROJ YONGRIT).
