CORONAVIRUS THAILAND

Thailand scraps all forms of Covid-19 quarantine for international travellers

Samut Prakan, Jun 1 (EFE/EPA).- Thailand has relaxed COVID-19 restrictions beginning Wednesday, June 1, by lifting all quarantine mandates for international visitors.

Arriving unvaccinated or partially vaccinated foreign travellers must show a negative rapid antigen or RT-PCR test result taken within 72 hours of departure, while fully vaccinated travellers will need to show their vaccination certificate.

The move is aimed to attract visitors in an effort to boost the country's tourism industry. (Camera: DIEGO AZUBEL).
