Thailand to scrap Covid-19 test requirements for fully vaccinated travelers

Samut Prakan, Apr 29 (EFE/EPA).- Thailand is set to end the "Test and Go" entry scheme and cancel its mandatory RT-PCR COVID-19 testing upon arrival for fully vaccinated travelers arriving by air from 1 May 2022.

The unvaccinated visitors will be required to quarantine for five-day at the quarantine facilities or show a negative pre-travel test result.

The easing of travel restrictions seeks to attract tourists to visit Thailand. (Camera: RUNGROJ YONGRIT).
