Thailand to restrict cannabis comsumption to therapeutic uses

Bangkok, Jan 11 (EFE).- (Camera: Narong Sangnak) The Government of Thailand is finishing a legal reform to settle the recreational use of marijuana that arose under the protection of a legal vacuum following the decriminalization of cannabis in June 2022.

The country's health minister Cholnan Srikaew signed a draft law which seeks to restrict marijuana consumption to therapeutic uses and close some gaps that emerged with decriminalization.
