Thailand plans to declare Covid-19 endemic

Bangkok, May 18 (EFE/EPA).- Health authorites in Thailand continued on Wednesday to vaccinate children aged 5 to 8 as part of the country's transition plan to declare Covid-19 as endemic.

The Thai government is on track to declare the Covid-19pandemic as an endemic by 1 July 2022, due to the improving situation allowing people to return to a normal life after two years of outbreaks. (Camera: RUNGROJ YONGRIT).
