Bangkok, Mar 27 (EFE/EPA).- The Thai House of Representatives passed on Wednesday a landmark marriage equality bill to legalize same-sex marriage, making Thailand a step closer to being the first Southeast Asian country and the third in Asia to recognize same-sex unions. The bill requires approval from the Senate and royal endorsement before becoming law which is expected before the end of 2024.
