Bangkok, Jul 19 (EFE/EPA).- Buddhist devotees attended Saturday a morning alms ritual to mark Asalha Bucha Day and Buddhist Lent.

Faithful join in making merit on Asalha Bucha Day, the anniversary of the Buddha's first sermon, a day before the Buddhist Lent (Kao Pansa), a three-month period in which monks are required to remain in a particular monastery or temple grounds to study and meditate. (Camera: NARONG SANGNAK).
