Thai authorities issue high temperature warning

Bangkok, Apr 24 (EFE/EPA).- Thailand faced on Wednesday sweltering heat with temperature soaring.

Thai authorities issued a high temperature warning for all regions in the country with the temperature reaching as high as 43 degrees Celsius (109.4 Fahrenheit).

The temperature was at a dangerous level with a risk of heat stroke, as the hot weather broke a record in five years, according to the Meteorological Department. (Camera: NARONG SANGNAK).
