Thai activists demand bail after activist's death

Bangkok, May 16 (EFE/EPA).- Thai pro-democracy activists Phatsawalee "Mind" Thanakitwiboonphon and Panusaya "Rung" Sithijirawattanakul, along with friends and supporters, rallied outside Government House in Bangkok on Thursday.

They were demanding the right to bail out political prisoners, following the recent death of 28-year-old political activist Netiporn Sanesangkhom, also known as Bung Thalu Wang.

The activists held a protest and sent a letter to the government through the Prime Minister's Deputy Secretary for Political Affairs, Somkid Chuakong. (Camera: NARONG SANGNAK).
