Bucharest (Romania), Jan 29 (EFE/EPA) - (Camera: Robert Ghement) Some 400 cab drivers in Romania rallied today in front of the Parliament headquarters in Bucharest to demand the regulation or elimination of alternative transport companies such as Uber and Bolt, which they consider unfair competition. The cab drivers demanded the taxation of these companies according to European tax rules, in order to ensure fair and equitable competition, as well as the abolition of the dynamic fare practiced by these companies.
