Tauro F.C. win Apertura 2024 championship in Panama | Video

Panama City, Jun 1 (EFE).- Tauro F.C. were crowned champions of the Panamanian Football League (LPF) Apertura 2024 with a 2-0 win over CD Plaza Amador.

Goals from Yilton Díaz and Ángel Díaz secured the victory in a match dedicated to Luis ‘Matador’ Tejada, held at the Estadio Rommel Fernández Gutiérrez.

The first half ended goalless, but Tauro F.C. dominated the second half. Yilton Diaz scored in the 49th minute, followed by a late goal from Angel Diaz in the 88th minute, sealing the 17th Panamanian football championship title for Tauro F.C. (Camera: CARLOS LEMOS).
