Swiss author Kim de l'Horizont wins German language book award

Frankfurt, Oct 17 (EFE/EPA).- Swiss author Kim de l'Horizont won the Deutscher Buchpreis 2022 (the German Book Prize), which was awarded to the best German novel of the year on Monday at the Frankfurt Book Fair, for "Blutbuch" (Book of Blood), a work in which the writer elaborates its own experience of searching for sexual definition when she cannot identify as either a woman or a man.
