EU supports export of Caribbean sargassum for European textile industry

Santo Domingo, May 29 (EFE) - The European Union (EU) Global Gateway project aims to contain the impact of sargassum seaweed in the Dominican Republic and other countries in the region by supporting initiatives such as the export of this macroalgae to Europe for use as a raw material in the textile industry.
