Supporters of ex-Pakistani president Khan continue their march towards Islamabad after shooting

Sarai Alamgir (Pakistan), Nov 10 (EFE/EPA).- (Camera: Rehan Khan) The party of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan continues its protest march towards Islamabad, after the opposition leader was injured on November 3 in an attack on this anti-government demonstration.

The Pakistan Tehree-e-Insaf (PTI) party, Khan's formation, resumed its march in Wazirabad, the same city where they stopped after a shooting in which one person died and 12 were injured, including the former head of government .

The former president led this demonstration that intends to reach the Pakistani capital, and that seeks to put pressure on the Government of Pakistan to hold early elections, a demand rejected by the government of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
