Stray Dogs Cause Increase in Rabies Deaths in India

New Delhi (India), Dec 30 (EFE) -(Camera: Indira Guerrero). Before going to sleep, Ranjit G, the driver of a family in a slum of New Delhi, must accommodate an "anti-dog" device. The data of attacks and deaths from rabies in India rebound by a population out of control.

India has the largest stray dog population in the world with 62 million homeless animals, followed far behind by China with 20 million, according to the Pet Homelessness Index (PHI) of the multinational American company Mars Pet Care.
