Getxo (Bizkaia, Spain), Nov 20 (EFE).- The third high-impact storm of the season, which the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has named Caetano, has put nine communities in the north, east, and south of the peninsula, as well as the Balearic Islands, on alert this Wednesday, particularly due to very strong wind gusts, maritime conditions in the Cantabrian Sea and the Mediterranean, and potentially persistent rainfall.This Wednesday, Catalonia is under an orange alert (significant risk) due to winds and coastal phenomena; Andalusia, Asturias, and Cantabria are under a yellow alert for coastal phenomena; Aragón and the Valencian Community are at the same alert level but for winds; the Balearic Islands are under alert for winds and coastal phenomena, and Navarra and the Basque Country are under alert for rain, with the latter also facing a maritime storm.
