Sri Lanka marks fifth anniversary of Easter Sunday attack

Colombo, Apr 21 (EFE/EPA).- Sri Lanka held the fifth-anniversary commemoration of the 2019 attack at St. Anthony's Church on Sunday.

The day marked the fifth anniversary of an attack that targeted three churches and three luxury hotels in Colombo in a series of coordinated suicide bombings that killed more than 250 people, including 45 foreigners, and injured over 500. (Camera: CHAMILA KARUNARATHNE).
