Spanish writer Alfonso Goizueta named finalist for prestigious literature prize in Barcelona | Video

Barcelona, Oct 16 (EFE).- The jury of the Premio Planeta has selected Alfonso Goizueta as one of the finalists for this prestigious award.

The award ceremony is being held in Barcelona, where Alfonso Goizueta's novel "La sangre del padre" is competing.

In his novel, Goizueta has skilfully crafted a fictionalised biography of the legendary Alexander the Great.

The Planeta Novel Prize is a prestigious Spanish literary prize awarded since 1952 by the Spanish publishing house Grupo Planeta. It is awarded to original, unpublished and outstanding novels written in Spanish. (Camera: EFE).
