Spanish town of Gádor turns into orange paradise with annual juice fountain event

Gádor, Feb 11 (EFE).- Citrus fruit took over the Spanish town of Gádor this Sunday to celebrate "Orange Day", an event that pays tribute to the producers of the region's star product.

This year, once again, there was a fountain from which thousands of litres of juice gushed out.

Numerous people gathered around the fountain with a bag of orange 'papaviejos' in hand, as these sweets were also made and distributed free of charge among those attending the increasingly popular festival in this town in the Bajo Andarax region of Almería. (Camera: CARLOS BARBA).
