Spanish actress Blanca Portillo receives award for her theatrical career | Video

Almagro, Jun 29 (EFE).- Spanish actress Blanca Portillo has received Thursday the XXIII Corral de Comedias Award which recognizes her successful theatrical career.

Portillo has constantly been showing her progressive maturity as an actress and her committed defense of theater as a engine of social change.

The awarding ceremony took place at a classical Spanish theater, the Corral de Comedias de Almagro, the only example of a 17th century theater that has been preserved and that maintains the original structure of the Corral de comedias or a theatrical courtyard of the Golden Age.
