Spain's Secretary of State for International Cooperation promotes coffee, peace in Colombia | Video

Cajibío, Apr 27 (EFE).- "Coffee and peace are life, the present and the future of Colombia," said the Secretary of State for International Cooperation of Spain, Pilar Cancela, on Thursday during a visit to the southwestern Colombian department of Cauca where she learned about programs supported by the spanish government.

Cancela visited a Workshop School in Popayán, capital of Cauca, where she learned about various "female economic empowerment" initiatives linked to sectors such as gastronomy or goldsmithing that are part of the "Mujeres tejiendo paz" project. She later visited the Technological Park of Coffee Innovation (Tecnicafé) in the town of Cajibío. (Camera: ERNESTO GUZMAN).
